Media Game Plan
From an audit to a board-approved plan.
AzPA had plenty to say, but needed a more connected way to say it. We turned a social media audit into a clear, prioritized strategy the team and board could act on.
- Approved
- by the AzPA board as the plan to revamp its social media
- 16 pages
- of strategy covering 3 platforms and 6 prioritized fixes
- 26
- ready-to-use sample posts across a 60-day calendar
The challenge
Bring the channels together.
Events, continuing education, advocacy and member resources gave AzPA plenty of material. What was missing was organized content, consistent visuals and a stronger link between social media, the website and the member experience.
What we did
A plan the team could use.
- Audited Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn alongside the website, then ranked six fixes: three high priority and three medium.
- Gave each platform a distinct role and defined five content pillars with a rhythm of three posts a week.
- Matched the existing graphic templates to clear uses and a repeatable publishing workflow.
- Delivered a 16-page report with a 60-day calendar and 26 sample posts, each with direction for captions, calls to action and templates.
The outcome
A direction leadership approved.
AzPA adopted the plan as the basis of its social media strategy and used the report to win board approval to revamp its channels. The team now has an approved direction and a roadmap it can act on.
